Wonderful 17th Century inn located in a picturesque village about 10 miles outside Stirling.

We had a very warm welcome on arrival, room was cozy, bed very comfortable.

Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We requested haggis in place of black pudding and were accommodated without issue as it should be in Scotland

Location is ideal for visiting Stirling, Edinburgh and Glasgow. Loch Lomond and the Trossachs are within easy striking distance, as are the Grampians.

Great value for money and we will definitely return, hopefully soon

A superb single night stay for dinner, B&B.
This is such a charming pub / hotel and all the staff from arrival to departure were wonderful.
My steak dinner was as good as the finest steakhouse you can imagine. The room was comfortable, cosy and clean. Breakfast was a delicious fry-up and just hit the spot ahead of a day’s walking in The Trossachs.
Safe to say I’ll be back!

Friend and I phoned on the Saturday night to see if they could squeeze us in for dinner after our fundraising event in Callander. We were delighted they could give us a table at 6pm. The interior of the place is lovely. Staff all very friendly. Food was fabulous I love a good gammon steak with fresh grilled pineapple. Good size portions. Plenty to choose from on the menu. Desserts were amazing just what we needed after a long day. We will definitely be back soon

Lovely friendly proprietor Fiona and all her staff. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Clearly popular as regular diners had come from some distance away to dine there.

Lovely cozy pub, with clean and comfortable rooms. Food was excellent and staff couldn’t do more for you. It was a Friday night and we didn’t book ahead for dinner (which was our mistake!) but they still managed to squeeze us in which we’re so grateful for!

Found this place by accident and ended up coming for dinner twice. Staff are incredible and as for the food, simply top notch. Credit to the chefs. Highly recommend this place to eat if you are in the area
